I did an experiment. I cut strips of varying lengths and widths of plain card stock, then hole-punched each strip on both ends, glued them together and stacked them on the same wooden dowel/base I’d made for the paper trees. I topped the dowel with a little tube of card stock and sprayed the entire thing lightly with silver, gold and glitter spray paint.
