You want to make sure to tape the thresholds really well. These areas will get hit by boots, pivoted on, basically ripped apart. In the summer all the thresholds were duct-taped as well for strength. Again, I had run out so I omitted this bit. (Plus, the job will only be a couple of weeks, with only one crew at a time, so the wear will be much less.)
