Step five: Drop cloth. We used our old, cruddy, mildewy one that was accidentally (on purpose) left in the garage. We had meant to save all the drop cloths that we bought for the summer project, but after months of dust and debris, we couldn’t bear to have them back in the house. Best to think of these are partially disposable – we won’t be keeping this after this project is over.
